Dust storm at Bahrain.

It's been 2 days the dust storm covered the Manama City. I've been working here almost 4 months, the invasion of dust storm will happen average twice in a month in Bahrain.

The most serious case was happened last month, on 16th May. The dust storm was almost covered the whole Manama City and even the sun has been disappeared. You might not able to imagine what does I meant "SERIOUS", see the photos below and you will know how "serious" it was .........

Wind blowing strong & signboard was unclear.

The end of this road is an "island divider". This photo was taken at about 60 meter away from it.

Compare this 2 photos. The clear photo was taken on 11/4/09 when i went up to our project site, a 20 storey apartment tower to take some photos. In the photo are all resident's villa. I went up again to take almost the same angle shot on 16/5/09.

The building in this 2 photos is Seef Mall Shopping Complex. One of our project completed in year end of 2006. Clear photo was taken at 11/4/09.

This photo is the view of Manama City of Bahrain, which also taken from our project's apartment at 20th floor roof top. The bottom side of these photo is a car park which the flooring is yet to be painted with white at the clear photo taken at 11/4/09, but the painting was done when the photo taken at 16/5/09.

Malaysia Services Exhibition at Dubai ,17-19 March 2009 - Part II.

I was very excited by seeing 2 new events joint in the 2nd MSE at Dubai this year, there were art gallery and fashion design by our Malaysian's artist / designer.



Beside promoting our Malaysia's heavy industrial products such like construction, engineering, oil & gas, shipbuilding, education services, financial services, health care services and foods, we should also promote our famous Malaysia's Batik textiles, fashion design, art painting and art products by our great Malaysian artist.

During the exhibition period, I always visit to those art gallery and fashion textiles every morning before the exhibition started. I was really impressed by all those masterpiece by our great artist....There even have fashion show at the exhibition, unfortunately the shots which I took by my so call "outdated" camera doesn't look good, so i didn't post it. So, just see some 'still" pictures i took for your information.

Malaysia Services Exhibition at Dubai ,17-19 March 2009 - Part I

Once again our company attended the Malaysia Services Exhibition (MSE) which held at Dubai, this year. MATRADE, the organizer of MSE, has sufficiently improved the IT facilities at the venue and the arrangement of transportation for the participles to hotel since the 1st MSE's expericance which held at Sharjah last year.

That was really a nightmare for those who attended the 1st MSE 2008 at Sharjah. Major mistake was the wrong venue and wrong timing has been chosen to hold the exhibition. The MSE 2008, held at 13 - 15 Jan 2008, was the raining season at Sharjah and caused flooded everywhere and the traffic was completely "jammed dead" at Sharjah town, hence it was badly effected the number of visitor who trying to visit the expo.

This year, despite of the best location has been chosen (next to Dubai International Airport Terminal 3), still the numbers of visitor couldn't reach our expectation. This is due to the lack of publicity and the effect of global economic crisis. Hopefully in coming next year, the Malaysia Services Exhibition 2010 would have a better feed back........now I just share with you what kind of Malaysia services are provided in the expo.........
